Eagle Landing Bed and Breakfast is ideally located in the centre

wooded and the house overlooks the islands of Denman , Hornby ,
Texada and Lasqueti. Across the water you can see the coast
mountains and up island you have a view of Mount

Eagle Landing is in the perfect location for you to make it your
base while you visit the west coast of Vancouver Island and the
most westerly of Canadian national parks Pacific
Rim National Park. While you are on the west coast you
must visit the communities of Ucluelet and Tofino and spend time
on Long Beach where the huge waves roll in from the Pacific ocean. |

During your stay with us you should order an early breakfast and
drive to Port Alberni where at 7:30 am you can board the M.V.
Lady Rose. Enjoy a full day viewing some of the most
spectacular scenery as you sail down the inlet to Barkley Sound ,
around the Broken Islands with stops at Ucluelet and Bamfield. You
will arrive back into Port Alberni just in time for dinner and a
pleasant 45 minute drive back to Eagle Landing. |

Vancouver Island is well known for many world class golf
courses. The temperate climate allows golfers to play year
round and it is not uncommon to see many having a round of 18
holes before Christmas dinner. There are 5 courses within a 15
minute drive of Eagle Landing. |

The village of Qualicum
Beach derived its name from the native word “Qualwho”
which translated apparently means dog or chum. These two salmon
species were plentiful in the two rivers that today bear the
Qualicum name, The Big Qualicum and the Little Qualicum. |

In Qualicum Beach you can visit “The
Old School House” Gallery and Art Centre. This 80-year old
school house-turned-art-centre in the heart of Qualicum Beach
showcases the visual arts of painting, sculpture, carving and
pottery, as well as music. Hands-on workshops, studio tours of
artists-in-residence, and a well-stocked gift shop are all part of
the TOSH experience. |

Just to the north of Qualicum you can visit Butterfly
World . Stroll among hundreds of free flying butterflies
finches and hummingbirds. Enjoy rare tropical plants with the
exotic aromas and flashes of colour. Share the world of the
butterfly as they fly, sip nectar, court or simply bask in the
sunlight, showing of their glorious colours. |

Breakfast. Horne Lake is a gem nestled in the Beaufort range of
Vancouver Island. World class outdoor adventures include a visit
to the famous Horne Lake caves. Combine this with spectacular
views and you have one of the islands best outdoor destinations.
